5) Herald Examiner: 1111 S. Broadway
This building has been vacant since 1989 and will be converted into creative offices.
1) Mack Urban Development
6 acres on 6 sites surrounded by Grand Ave., 11th St. Hill St. and Pico Blvd.
Mack Urban’s $750 million 1,500 unit residental high rise development will include shops, restaurants and a hotel.
2) Urban Village at South Park
1027 S. Olive St.
Urban Village at South Park is going to be a 100 studio and one bedroom apartment. It is expected to be completed by 2015.
3) 1000 Grand Ave.
This multi-family project with 12,000 sq. ft. of retail space will be constructed Spring 2014 by the Hanover Company.
4) G12 – 12th St and Grand Ave.
This development will include 40,000 square ft of retail and will have more spaces for bikes (740) versus cars (595). Construction is going to start in 2014.
5) Renaissance Hotel
Williams/Dame and Associates is set to begin construction on the 450 room Renaissance Hotel. It will be completed by 2016.
