Ten50, a New Downtown LA Condo Building in South Park will Have a Drone Pad!

Seems there is a race to have the best amenities at the new condo and apartment developments in Downtown LA. Developers are getting more creative in attracting people to buy condos and lease apartments at these luxury buildings.

South Park is getting a drone pad at one of it’s new condo developments. This is the first landing pad of it’s kind. It will be at Ten50, a condo being developed by Trumark Urban at 1050 S. Grand Avenue in the prestigious South Park community in Downtown Los Angeles. Among its many amenities, one of them will be a landing pad for packages being delivered by drones.

It seems that drone deliveries would be far off but it seems to be feasible soon. Amazon received approval to test their drone delivery methods in the US. The FAA was slow to approve Amazon’s drone so the model they were approved for is now obsolete. However, a startup in San Francisco is promising to drop off items by drones to the residents in the Mission.

Ten50 will be a 25 story building with 151 one and two bedroom luxury condos. It will also have a lounge, a pool with cabanas, a spa, a fitness center, a yoga garden and screening rooms.

This building will be a welcome addition to the bustling and growing community of South Park in Downtown LA. The drone pad is definitely an innovative step in making deliveries easier to condos in urban communities.

Biscuit Lofts cafe
