3. THE PROCESS:

The documents that you will need to apply are your credit score report, paycheck stubs or tax return statements, bank statements and the rental application. Usually, lofts in Downtown LA require at least a one month deposit and one month rent for the move in funds. They also have pet deposits ranging from $250-500 if the owner allows pets. After you decide you like a unit, you will apply for the unit and if you are accepted, I will email you the move in procedures for that building. Some buildings require a move in fee ranging from $100-$250. You will then review the lease agreement and then schedule your move in inspection. Many times the move in inspection is one day before the actual move in date or it can be on the move in date. You can choose when you want to do your move in inspection.

Move in funds are usually paid in cashier’s checks. Tenants can also then start picking their move in company and start preparing for their move! Most buildings require that you get a copy of the certificate of liability from the moving company and you would turn that in to the building’s HOA management company.
